As Canada’s communications infrastructure magazine, Network & Cabling is dedicated to ensuring our readers get the information they need, when they need it, about the data/low-voltage industry. With a wide readership of cabling contractors, installers, designers, network administrators and IT end users, our editorial content is targeted specifically at PHY layer community.
We invite everyone to share their knowledge, expertise, tips and tricks with colleagues across Canada. If you check our 2009 editorial calendar (below), you'll see it provides broad opportunities for contributing articles, news, story ideas, etc. to the magazine. As always, we invite you to send letters to the editor, information on new products, open houses, anniversaries, etc. You name it, we want to know about it!

Send press releases via e-mail (please keep under 3 MB in size). Digital images should be a minimum 300 dpi (about 2x3 in. on-screen) and sent as separate, recognized image files (i.e. TIF, JPG, EPS, etc.). Releases should be sent in MS Word format or plain text.

New Products/Services Ensure products and services are available in Canada.
Industry News Send information about you and the people in your company (i.e. promotions, new hires, etc.), company anniversaries, special promotions, awards, and the like. Also send information about acquisitions, mergers, new projects/contracts, etc. Include photos/visuals where possible.
Events Send information about conferences, trade shows, open houses, seminars, etc. To give readers time to make plans to attend, send in the announcement a minimum of three months in advance.
Feature/Technical Articles and Case Studies Feature stories are non-technical and usually explore industry issues. Case studies typically highlight the innovative use of a product or system. Technical articles address the nuts-and-bolts of electrical products, systems and insider know-how.
